All members are asked to attend and participate in the 2026 Winter Conference for the WV Department of the Marine Corps League, being held here in Morgantown. Note from Commandant Heubi on the details below

I wanted to drop a quick line to remind everyone of the Department Conference this Saturday, January 10th. The meeting will start promptly at 1000 at our normal meeting place of the Senior Center behind the old Mountaineer Mall.  I suggest arriving 30 minutes ahead of the meeting. This is a great opportunity to meet a few more members from across the state and see our state officials at work. I am strongly encouraging the entire Detachment attend if you are physically able. The uniform of the day will be red League cover and red polo if you have one. Again, I want to remind the new members that the uniform is not required to attend. If you have them, wear them, if not, come as you are. Your presence is way more important than the uniform. Let’s share some comradery and break bread together. We will have light refreshments in the morning and lunch when the meeting is over around 1200.
